Meet Your Doctor
Dr. Tiffany Koon knew she wanted a career in health care ever since she was a child. She became passionate about eye care when she interned at a hospital eye clinic while in high school. She went on to pursue her career in optometry.
She graduated 1 year early from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and chemistry. She then achieved her doctorate from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.

During her schooling, she worked at retail opticals and eye clinics to gain versatility in her field and help patients meet their visual needs. Her favorite memory of optometry school is her mission trip to Belize, where she was part of a team who provided much needed vision care and eyewear to over 500 people.

Dr. Tiffany Koon trained at VA Hospitals, managing the care of veterans who had glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other medical conditions.
She also received clinical training in pediatrics, hard-to-fit contact lenses, and dry eye.
An "Eye-opening" Career:
When Dr. Tiffany Koon graduated, she lived in Rochester, NY for 2 years with her husband. She practiced at a private practice there and enjoyed providing personalized care to her patients. She hoped to have an independent practice of her own one day.
When she moved to Maryland in 2015, she worked for a retail optical and served various communities. In 2018, she established Panoptic Eye Care to promote eye health and to continue to provide the best care for her patients. Dr. Tiffany Koon now specializes in myopia management and dry eye. She offers the latest technology to diagnose these conditions early and to treat them effectively.

Dr. Tiffany Koon is a current member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. She is also an active member in the Parents Club of Crofton and proud sponsor of our local schools. She is fluent in English and Cantonese. She can also provide eye examinations in Spanish.

Dr. Tiffany Koon was born and raised in New York. She loves spending time with her husband and two kids. She also enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and hosting parties!
