Dry Eye
Have you ever experienced a gritty, itchy, stinging sensation in one or both eyes? Have you ever wondered why your eyes and/or eyelids always appear red? Do your eyes constantly water? If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, you may have dry eyes.

Rejuvenation
Our skin rejuvenation treatments uses gentle energy to boost collagen, tighten skin, and smooth fine lines—giving you a firmer, more refreshed look.

Pediatric Eye Care
The American Optometric Association recommends that all children have their first eye exam at 6 months of age, another exam at age 3, and a third exam prior to starting school. Our doctor will test for excessive or unequal amounts of nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism, eye movement ability, and eye health problems. Our doctor believes in proactively protecting our children's eyesight by preventing amblyopia and high myopia.

Myopia Management
Myopia has become a worldwide public health issue, ranking the 2nd most common cause of blindness globally. The onset and progression of myopia can be caused by genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors. If one parent is myopic, the risk of myopia development is 3x. That risk doubles when both parents are myopic. Additionally, advanced technology has led to increased screen time and little or no outdoor recreation.

Insurances

What is the difference between a VISION PLAN (VSP, Spectera, Davis, etc) and MEDICAL INSURANCE (Medicare, Cigna, United Healthcare, etc) ?

MEDICAL INSURANCE will be used for eye health visits (diabetes, cataract, glaucoma, eye pain, eye injury, etc). It doesn't provide coverage towards glasses, contact lenses (unless medically necessary for diseased eyes), and other similar materials. Medicare and most medical insurances also do not usually cover refraction (the procedure used to determine your prescription) unless it is necessary for your medical condition.

VISION PLANS usually cover towards routine wellness eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. This includes the inspection of the internal and external eye health in a healthy person without known eye disease. These plans also assist in discounted fees for materials.
Our goal is to bill appropriately based on the reason for visit. Our staff will try our best to help you understand your medical insurance and vision plan benefits. We will try to maximize your savings. We also accept and offer Care Credit.
